just priced how much this will cost me to build with parts from guitarpartsresource.com. about £430. if i can find the funds i may have my own little build diary thread.

A P bass with a Jazz neck would work well.

Why not just get a neck made? Or do u not have a pbass already? I believe a jazz neck fits a pbass aswell anyway (vague memory). Warmoth do great work from what i hear aswell.
