Beautiful Aria Pro II SB-1000, made in Japan,

in almost mint condition. Play and sounds superb.

Medium weight, me scales broke down but guessing around 4,4kg.

I thought this was a reissue model, but a fellow bc member informed me

this is a 1993 and probably a transition model due to the original bridge

and back control and battery plate.

Either way, this bass is a beauty and built so well.

Beautiful ash body with an oak finish. Ebony fretboard, 24 fret.

40mm nut width, very comfortable neck.

£1100

Trades with another fretted 4 string possible.

Beautiful bass.

Am I correct in thinking that these reissues have the more conventional neck dimensions (i.e. 42/43mm nut and standard 19mm string spacing at the bridge) similar to the original R and Elite series?

Thanks!

The nut width is 40mm and string spacing 18.5mm. :)

Just backing up what you posted at the top - I had a re-issue with the Gotoh bridge and that definitely had wider spacing (it also had a separate battery compartment on the back) - so looks like you've got an interesting one there. The only reason I let my one go was because my other bass was a 5 string Spector Euro with fairly narrow string spacing and I found the difference between the two a bit of a pain - so I've got to admit, I'm liking your one!
