Looking for value/info on Trace GP11/RA500

Acquired these two around 18 months ago, for use in an ELP tribute band, and never got around to using 'em.

The story....and there's ALWAYS a story....is that this setup travelled the world with 'The Kinks',
....must have been late 80's through 90's...? On return to UK, was stolen...then recovered, and hung around in store until I got it. A substantial...and HEAVY....piece of kit, I have renovated/cleaned all contacts.....and by cracky....it sounds magnificent!!

Oh....and have built it into a sturdy covered ply sleeve, as can be seen.

Have the feeling that it is a very early model.....due to low handwritten serial numbers, and construction.

Hoping that someone out there can tell me more.....?? [font="Comic Sans MS"][/font]

There's usually dated inspection stickers on the PCBs if you fancy opening them up.

Looks like Mark IV to me, mid eighties? I've got the GP11 preamp - very nice, if a touch hissy by modern standards and a very good all-rounder.

GP11 head will be around 1984/5.

Daft Suggestion, email Trace Elliot, they should still have access to the old records from the 80's to the late 90's.

Failing that, send a polite letter to Ashdown, there is a bunch of ex-Trace people there, I'm sure they might be able to give you an idea of when it was built, I don't suspect the combination is that common.
