For sale used flat wound strings taken off a standard 34” scale 4 in a line Fender with plenty of silk / winding.

Ive checked and can’t find a definite answer but think these are GHS flats. They have black silks and as much as I researched I couldn’t get a definite on the make.

Great condition. £15 posted.

Lakand Flats (which were made by GHS) had black silks.

GHS Precision Flats have purple silks.

Thank you. I was half correct then in a way.....

What's the gauges?

Hotwires are lighter than GHS, I think all my GHS Precision flats are purple windings, Hotwires definitely black.

I knew I’d missed something....

They are 105, 85, 65, 45.

The GHS 3050M set are 45/65/85/105 but the black silk Laklands were always advertised as 45/65/85/106.

How accurate is your micrometer?

Well it’s pretty accurate but I thought it was my misread as it was slightly over 105. I will now go an have another check and trust it if it says .106”
