project_c Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 just spotted a few vids up on tc electronic's youtube page now, built in tuner, semi-parametric eq's and programmable presets appear to be the main 'revolutionary' features, but it looks ok, i like tc's studio stuff so it's interesting to see them making something dedicated for bass. i have no opinion on this as such, just thought it would be interesting to point out the vids. bass_ferret Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Look good. Ampeg did a similar amp with 4 presets a few years ago but nobody bought them. The LED's on the input volume worked as a VU meter when you were playing as well. Did not have all the other bits mind. Quote

Dubs Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I think these look great. Can't wait to read some reviews and find out how much they're gonna be retailing for. From the videos on YouTube, it sounds like they’ve properly thought about this head. I can't really understand the negativity in the other thread before anyone’s even had the chance to have a look at one. From those videos it sounds great and looks great, what’s not to like about it at the moment when no one’s had any real word experience of it? Quote

It'll run without cabs,analogue and digital DI,stereo input,2 types of EQ,tuner,headphone out, etc etc. This is the the next Bass related thing i'm buying,well after getting active eq for my Blazer. [/quote] I’m trying to withold from comments like that until I can get hold of some reviews or until people on here have experience of it, and also I reckon it’s gonna cost somewhere between £800 and £1k TC Electronics don’t make cheap gear… Quote
molan Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Floor pedal with access to the tuner & the pre-sets seems a clever little idea. I like the look of the vertically stacked 10's as well, feels like having the upper speakers raised would be really good for stage sound Quote
