dickandjill
Hi I'm in the process of buying a Mustang bass on which the 2 plastic pickup covers are missing. Does anyone know where I can get some from? I've seen precision and jazz bass ones available but not Mustang ones. Thanks Richard

I didn't even notice it had no covers until I sold it, not the biggest PUPs in the world are they
lozbass
Haha - rumbled! It really is a lovely bass but I'm selling a lot of stuff and this Mustang is among the basses that I've used least in the last few months. The Beedster set-up and re-string is a thing of beauty (I'm a convert to flats again after a three decade break!) I had a quick look around for replacement covers myself but didn't come up with any (beyond buying new re-issue pickups at around $50) - I'm sure somebody will come up with some eventually - it's just a matter of patience and perserverence (not qualities with which I'm greatly endowed!) Seriously, this is a lovely short-scale, I'm just a serial buyer (and ridiculously indecisive to boot). I'm trying to focus on 'the three' in the next few weeks. Back to pickup covers, this is the best I can do: http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/bass_pi...endemustang.htm
