I'd really welcome some input on the subject.

I'd really welcome some input on the subject.
All people have butts, not all pose with a guitar between their cheeks, thus it is more individual than not doing so. Being made of imperfect wood, all guitars are individual, but they are still assigned classifications, and have certain expections made of them, which on the whole, they will fulfil. Pretty much everyone knows how to make another person, but only a few can make a guitar. Also, this thread. Oh, Oh, and if a bass is an object, and you get asked the question 'Do you love the bass more than you love me?', who is guilty of comparing to an object (she is gone, the bass remains). It's 1983, I'm living with a girl who thinks my 5 or 6 hours a day bass playing is obsessive - I was thinking I need to find more time, there are things I want to play but can't, must get better. Jah Wobble, Derek Forbes, Barry Adamson and Pino Palladino all continually moving the targets. We all know that target - when I get to that standard * I can relax a little. She made me choose. Well. We were through very shortly thereafter. And about three months later she tried to burn me alive in my flat. * Still not there Edited January 15, 2009 by Lysdexia

Old Horse Murphy
Jeez If my ex did that, we'd all be able to stand our basses up at the same time. There'd also be room for a fair few other items as well (bikes, possibly a fridge freezer, skis, telegraph poles).

I reckon your Rick 4003 would look great on my (Warwick rather than comely female) guitar stand

photographymatt
Im a sucker for women in tight leather 80s pants...add fender to that:-) hehe Joking apart, I dont think its objectifieing women. All women are gorgous, some physically, some mentally, some spiritually and I dont think its a problem to say "you know what, shes attractive to me as a potential mate". Modern "man" has a problem where we supress natural prime urges/feelings.
Golchen
When a feminist said "Sexism - we should make a stand" I fear that she was sadly misinterpreted .... Come to think of it, I think that this stand was mentioned at the 'Golden globe' awards .....
