Was looking on the lowend website at basses for sale!

Well anyway, came across this ritter from NAMM.

Seriously, this finish blows me away!

What are your views?? I know its not gonna be everyones cup of tea, but seriously, WOW!

I like Ritters -- but that's too busy for me. I'd prefer it if they did the whole body in the yellow and blue from the lower half.

How much is it? (doesn't matter -- I can't afford it ;) )

MB1. ;)
Very Nice colour!
Bit of Overkill on the Neck Screws!...10?...must be prone to wandering?

Having just looked back at the bass it does now look like 2 totally different finishes!

Don't get me wrong, its way OTT for me, i like a nice solid or simple natural finish but you've gotta admire that thing! ;)

I think that finish is achieved by spraying a stain over the wood and sanding it back. Jens has a real eye for dramatic impact though.

Awesome. OTT of course, but then it's meant to be. It's not designed to be played, it's designed to get Ritter more attention! ;)

Does he do his own finishes or does he get it finished elsewhere? Pretty interesting finish!

OH GOD, MY EYES!!!

That's a bit frantic and trippy.

Also, was there any need to post it in here AND in bass guitars?

christ...thats gorgous. the long horn is abit too prince for me, but its custom so id have that sorted;-)

why 2 9v batterys? pickups and eq?

some(all?) of the ibanez SR basses are passive pickups/active EQ so thats why I say that.

18v electronics i'm guessing.

Not sure whether its for more headroom on the pre-amp boost & cut, or active eq & pickups.
