rasher80
Hello BCers, These look fairly niche instruments, and probably satisfied by a Jag for all you rightys out there; But such instruments are rare in the left hand world, so I was thinking of commissioning a custom 32" build for an upcoming big birthday (any excuse!) I'm also tempted by the Aguilar P pickup, I've heard nothing but good things about them. Does anyone have any experience with either? TIA
fretmeister
I've got Aguilar P pickups - the 60s wind. It's brilliant. Thick and chewy tone but not muddy at all.

Wot he said. They are not as aggressive as some but do vintage deeply.
CameronJ
Agreed with the above - got a 5 string Aguilar P in my Wingbass and it’s rather tasty.

rasher80
Thanks for the replies - I think the Aguilar AG-4P 60s are the way to go. That configurator is driving me mad- I've already built 3 "dream" basses on it! Best re-mortgage the house
