sykilz
Hi guys, could anyone reccommend an oil or wax to keep a natural finish looking good, I`m getting a bit of a shiny spot around the volume knob too where finger rubs, I know Warwick supply some stuff with their basses, can you get it anywhere? I`ve attatched piccy of my bass. Cheers. yorks5stringer
The Warwick stuff is actually Beeswax, don't know if it is specially formulated for their basses? I'm sure there will be a Warwick fan along soon......? Edited January 16, 2009 by yorks5stringer
BassBod
I suspect your bass isn't oil finished, but has a thin coating of something that would stop beeswax from working its way into the wood? I could be wrong....

sykilz
you may be right Bassbod, as when it took a little ding in the back, it produced a small white crack which looked a bit odd, maybe this was some kind of glaze ( wrong word, can`t think of right one....)
