stingrayfan
Scott Morriss from indie band, The Bluetones uses one I think. They're flipping expensive by the looks of things. Can't post it, but there's a photo here: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/136/3190096...70a19ca.jpg?v=
Delberthot
They are beautiful basses but very expensive. I've always wanted one of the bright orange semi-acoustic basses but they're about £1400. I think they're still Fender owned but did hear something about the original family business buying it back at one point. Perhaps someone who actually knows something will be able to elaborate for me.

skankdelvar
AFAIK, the Gretsch family own the name / brand and have licensed Fender to oversee production and distribution. And the basses seem a little expensive at around one and a half sheets, but in line with items like the 6120. Maybe they'll do an Electromatic version... thebeat
The one in the classifieds used to be mine, Vern, the bloke selling it, is a good guy and easy to do business with. Great bass with much versatility and extremely high build quality. Only reason i sold mines was i couldn't get on with it playing fingerstyle.
