I took it to bits yesterday to put the hardware onto some other P neck and body I recently picked up (just to see if the body and neck would work as a bass). On the heel of the neck it says PBD -57. It is obviously meant to be a 57 kind of vibe with a 2 tone sunburst and a single ply scratchplate. I was just wondering if anyone could throw some more light on it's model origins? The serial number suggests '85 - '86. I would take pics, but it is in pieces at the mo'.
