thumbo
I'm currently using a Silverstone amp cover for my Orange AD200B but I'm after something that gives a little more protection. Any recommendations? I'm a bit reluctant to go down the flightcase route as I imagine this will probably add about 10Kg to an amp that's already the best part of 35Kg. I've seen these Gator ones but I've got no idea what they're like, has anyone has any experience with these? - http://www.gatorcases.com/productsdetail.a...=17&PID=
JakeBrownBass
i'd steer clear of gator tbh, they pretty poor. I've had 1 bass case, 1 guitar case, 2 mixer case and a cable bag from them. All bought at the same time and they'll all broken in one way or another now! Have you tried speaking to flightcase companies about light weight solutions?? There's alot out there interms of light weight materials nowerdays!

lozbass
If you need a full flight case, BSH in Manchester offer a custom-building service. I've been impressed with quality and speed but it's not a cheap option. Edited January 19, 2009 by lozbass
backwater
One option is to get a flightcase which uses astroboard rather than plywood - the case is a fair amount lighter. Andy
