andya
I have a lined fretless neck for a 4 string USA Jazz (a 1999 model) which was made for me by Mick at Zoot basses a couple of years ago. It was on my Jazz for a few months but didn't get much use and has been in a cupboard ever since. It cost £200 and is a thing of beauty!! I'll take £125 plus postage or swap it for a fretted Jazz neck of similar quality. Edited June 1, 2009 by andya
andya
Don't know. I have measured the body end of the neck and it's 62mm wide, 26mm thick and the flatted part is 110mm long. I think the pocket on the body on the Jazz is about 95mm deep so 15mm of the flat bit would have been visible.

Sibob
Unless it's an overhung fretboard, it will only be a 20 fret neck (to fit a jazz bass). Stingrays have 21 fret, and so fitting this neck would result in the wrong scale length and causing the intonation and tuning to be severely out of whack Good luck with the sale though, looks like a lush neck for a Jazz Si Edited January 28, 2009 by Sibob
