SH73 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Has anyone used any online music production courses? My aim is to work on my mixing and mastering skills. Quote
Mcgiver69 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Yes, there are tons of courses around: - Mixing University - Produce Like a Pro - Mix Academy Are some of the best I've found. Quote
SH73 Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 I regularly watch produce like a pro but wondered if signing up ( buying) to online class will be worth the money. @Mcgiver69 have you paid for any of these? Quote
Mcgiver69 Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Yes and there's a lot there for you to watch, from complete mixes (beginning to end) to tips and masterclasses. Another great resource is Groove3, they have lots of complete mixes and courses and best of all you can sign out whenever you want. 1 Quote
Erax Sound Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Try Hardcore Mixing and Home Mastering Masterclass. Both are excellent and not bank breakingly expensive. There are plenty others. It's all about if you like the style of the teacher. 1 Quote
Crawford13 Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 If you are recording metal Nail the Mix / URM seems to be the front runner. You get sent the raw multi tracks to work on for a new song each month, and there is competitions for best mix etc, there is also lots of support. 1 Quote
