Jakester Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Hi all, I’ve seen conflicting reports on this online, so looking a definite ‘yes’ or ‘no’ if possible. Do the various iterations of the Helix (Helicies?) allow for two inputs? I know some of them have a stereo input, but could this be used as two mono inputs, say for fretted and fretless or bass and EUB? Quote
BigRedX Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Yes. I've have the Helix Floor and any of the 6 inputs (guitar in, line in and the 4 FX returns) can be used as individual inputs if the routing is set up correctly in the patch. I use it to allow bass (via the guitar in) and stereo synth (via FX return 1+2 mixed to mono) to be both routed simultaneously to the left output that feeds a DI to the PA and my FRFR cab for on-stage monitoring. CameronJ Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Yep, I’ve done this on my HX Stomp using the FX return as a 2nd input and giving it independent effects blocks. Quote
