Annoying Twit Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Where is this bass likely to be made? At the price, I'd presume Mexico. http://www.reverb-store.co.uk/product-detail.asp?prod=869 Quote
Annoying Twit Posted January 18, 2009 Author Posted January 18, 2009 Thanks. Over twice as much for the American standard, I now see. http://www.reverb-store.co.uk/product-detail.asp?prod=1948 Quote
7string Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I personally don't think that the USA basses are worth that kind of money. There's a lot of choice when you come near to the £1k barrier. Quote

Personally, I don't think the Mex Standards are worth £400 either, compared with what £400 will buy you from Ibanez, Yamaha etc. Edit - the Fender in my avatar is Japanese, and its fantastic! Delberthot Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I think most of the ones that have 'upgrade' after them are MIM models. Unless I got a crazy deal on a MIA, I would only go for CIJ models FWIW BTW IMO GCH GSOH Quote
