solo4652 Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 (edited) Possibly not the best moment for me to be considering selling my SX Precision then!? Just not quite enough room on the fretboard for my big paws. Other than that, I' have no issues or problems with the bass, especially strung with Labella nylons. I put some Wilkinsons in mine, and they've definitely improved the bottom end, and overall clarity. Here's what they look like installed, for comparison to the OP's. Can't see any issue with string spacing along the neck anywhere. Edited December 19, 2019 by solo4652 1 Quote
solo4652 Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Yes - good looking thing, isn't it. Alder body, Wilkinson pick ups, lightweight, small size - all in proportion. Original wiring and pots all work properly. All for £160. Just can't quite find enough room on the fretboard for my hands, dammit. 1 Quote
NickA Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Put a schaller 3d bridge on it if it the alignment bothers you. Quote

WHUFC BASS Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 What colour blue is that? The colour scheme (with the tort scratchplate) and maple neck is fast becoming my favourite on a Precision. Quote
MacDaddy Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Would it have been any good for metal? Quote

Here's my 1977 Music Man Stingray II guitar. Just look at that neck pickup, especially under the high E! It's not a construction or assembly problem: the whole guitar was designed wonky. The bridge is daft, too, just like the original Stingray basses. It sounds good, though. 1 Quote

Now that wouldn’t be because it resembles a certain football teams colours would it? 1 Quote

stingrayPete1977 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Some kid in China will probably be having their fingers chopped off once the bass gets returned! Quote
