grimbeaver Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Hi, What would be the going rate to buy a warwick corvette $$ in black, 6 months old, good condition? Thanks Rob Quote
josh3184 Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 ooh probably around £500 if its the 4 string I'd guess Quote
Kev Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 (edited) id be tempted to say less, about £450 Edited January 19, 2009 by Kev Quote
JakeBrownBass Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 i sold my warwick $$ 5 in mint condition a while back for about £450 Jake Quote
grimbeaver Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 I have a mint EB MM sterling 4 in blue and a guy wants to swap so I could do with an idea on how the money will work out, I was guessing at £700 for the MM and £450 for the $$ Quote

The Streamer would be worth a tad more – about £50 maybe. [/s] Corvette - doh, I just skim read it Do you definitely want the $$? I might have something Streamer shaped if you were interested, but it’s not a $$. I've been after a Sterling for a while... Edited January 19, 2009 by benwhiteuk Quote

I withdrew it in the end, as it was too derpressing to sell at any lower than that! Its a buyers market for Warwicks at the moment. Quote

GreeneKing Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 I think maybe £700 for a Sterling, albeit mint is a little high. Mint Ray's are struggling at £650 at the mo. Quote
OutToPlayJazz Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 (edited) Those who have mentioned £450 are in the right ballpark. I just sold one for a similar amount. We're in a depressed market at the moment and both Warwicks & MusicMan basses are suffering value wise, amongst other mass produced items. We all like to think we can get the same high prices as before, but we all have to accept that things are worth what you can get for them. Edited January 19, 2009 by OutToPlayJazz Quote

I've been missing it since I sold it to Nottswarwick last year - and have ended up buying one pretty much identical! Assuming the deal all goes through smoothly, I'll bring it to the Notts Bash! Anyone ever had a Marcus Miller Jazz? It's like being on stage with a millstone around your neck! Quote
