What's the history of the fault? did it stop working whilst being played?

Has it been dropped?

Is this a cold start issue?

When was it last used successfully?

Fault doesn't care when your gig is, it's just using physics to annoy you.

If the fuse has gone for any reason other than violence then there's probably a fault that could end your show half way through even if replacing it makes it work for a bit. If it does get it working take a pocketfull on saturday.

DO NOT BYPASS THE FUSE you will kill yourself and everyone else at the show.

If you have a big gig coming up then ask your local music shop if they have amps you can hire or scout local selling pages for a cheap old combo, will buy you some time and take the pressure off at least. TC service centres are here:

If I had an important gig coming up and my amp went ppphhhfftt, even if they sorted it, I doubt I would depend on it without a back up plan for the gig.

I had an early one of these that was just out of warranty and it went ppphhhfftt one day and that was it goosed. I think it happened to quite a few of the early models.
