bobbass4k
Hey, i'm building a true bypass/feedback loop pedal, i'm confident about the actual building, but this is my first pedal type thing, so i'm pretty much just following this word for word to start off. My current problem is the audio jacks, ive come across more types than i thought even existed, so which of these would i need? cheers
~tl
http://www.allparts.uk.com/inch-input-jack....html?p=product You need a stereo one for the input (to allow disconnection of the battery when you unplug your guitar lead). The output jack can be a mono one, however I just tend to use a stereo one for both. Al Heeley
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=982 I've used these maplin types on a couple of stompbox homebuilds recently - either this type or the open type are fine for you. http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/product/SWITCHCRA...7_STEREO_WDE12S Switchcraft jack sockets are generally thought to be the best around, are reasonably priced, and virtually indestructible. You can use stereo ones for mono applications (you just ignore one of the contacts).
