Bigwan Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Don't know about you guys but I like the look of this... 5 Quote
Merton Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I’ve just sold an Ashdown head to slim the herd. This is not helping at all 🤣 1 Quote
Muppet Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 4 power valves and 5 pre, says Mr Gooday. Looks fantastic! 1 Quote
Lozz196 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Typical, just as I leave my band and have no intention of joining any others for a considerable time an amp like this turns up. Quote
Reggaebass Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Ashdown and all Valve , sounds good to me, and I like the look of it 🙂 1 Quote
Woodinblack Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Do like the style of it. Probably not going to like the weight! Quote

I agree, the design is perfect, but I expect it'll be heavy. If they would make a more lunchbox sized amp with that ABM power stage, that looked a bit like this, I'd be a very happy, but poorer man... Eude Quote

Basically an updated Spyder. Oh dear.... 1 Quote

Merton Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I suspect it’s the exact same preamp as the CTM100/300 - the Mellow switch on them is a lovely little thing IMO 1 Quote
Al Krow Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Forget 200Wm this literally goes to 11 (and way beyond). How many amps go to 11?? This thing is going to be LOUD 😁 Quote
PatrickJ Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) Love the design, great job @Ashdown Engineering Edited December 16, 2019 by PJ-Bassist Quote
2elliot Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Cool, I want one. I wonder how the eq stacks up. Quote

Linus27 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Oh geez, I love my Ampeg PF500 but I love my Ashdown CTM15 and this will sound sooo good through my Barefaced Two10. What do we think this will be priced at? Quote

la bam Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 That cab looks lovely retro / super compact style too. Nice! Quote
la bam Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 If anyone can bring in a 15kg all valve (with plenty of valves) monster then they're onto a winner. 200w seems a lovely compromise power stage wise. Quote

Check out Puretone Amps from Greece, he seems to have it cracked Quote
King Tut Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 @Ashdown Engineering - I'm touring the UK in Feb/March with Stray - double header with The Groundhogs - If you'd like me to road test one of these . . . . . . . . . 1 Quote
fretmeister Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I can already tell it would be too heavy for me. (And no doubt the fan noise would make me want to batter someone). Quote
