mikel Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Great songs????? I take that with a huge pinch of subjectivity. 😂 1 Quote
stewblack Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I really liked them back in the day. Bizarrely they formed a bridge between glam and punk in my musical journey. Quote
ambient Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 They must be at least as old as my parents 😁 Quote
MacDaddy Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Eric Faulkner... when he saved a suicidal man with the words: ‘You think you’ve got problems? I used to play guitar with the Bay City Rollers.’ Quote
police squad Posted December 17, 2019 Author Posted December 17, 2019 It's only Les with a great backing band. Good entertaining rock n roll 1 Quote

JellyKnees Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 The girls in my primary school used to love them, along with the Osmands and David Cassidy. It's a stinky poo business... 1 Quote
steantval Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I thought the thread was meant to be a joke, teeny bopper music as it was known way back, bloody awful. Quote

My sister also went to see The Sweet in concert in the 70’s and hated it, she thought they would be playing stuff like their chart records, they were in fact playing playing really heavy rock songs 😀 1 Quote
Flat Al Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Alan Longmuir was a plumber by trade and fitted the kitchen sink in my Mum and Dad's old house just before the Bay City Rollers made it big. Quote
