Just vocals? Quote

They really are only suitable for vocals as they only have a 10" driver. Something like this is closer to the mark. They are excellent value for money. Edited August 4, 2007 by BassBunny Quote

Generally you would use a larger power amp to drive any speaker so you don't start to introduce any distortion into the signal path... just be careful.... I have to agree that these would be no good for the size venue your suggesting. you will be better off with 15" drivers and 3-400 watts.... For the record I used a pair of Class D tops once........ absolute pants.... sounded dreadful. Quote
Timface Posted August 4, 2007 Author Posted August 4, 2007 ok.. well I have bought them already now as It was a bargin price of £200 for a pair!! So I guess I just have to be carefull not to take the level up? Quote

With the Bins they sound really good. We were Di'ing keys and miked up Drims through them. They are made to be used with the bins and contain a crossover that limits Bass freqs. For the price they were relly good. I guess it also depends what you are feeding them with. Quote
mikeh Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 I have to agree with Crez, my last band used a Class D PA. 1500 watts power amp with a pair of tops and subs. We tried to put everything through and pretty much blew up one of the subs. My bass rig on 2 over powered the PA on full!!! Also sounded really muddy. Quote
Timface Posted August 5, 2007 Author Posted August 5, 2007 well hopefully eventually I will be able to build this system up that way by adding subs and middles. But for now only the vocals need to go threw the system to the c200s should be fine! Quote
