A friend of mine at work has the following for sale:

A lefty 'Shergold Marathon Stereo' Bass in black with maple neck/board. Apparently, he bought it off of a mate of his in 1982 and believes it was previously bought new in 1979/80.

Condition is good 'used' with light player wear and the normal finish checking found on Shergolds. Bass comes with a soft gig bag.

He's looking for £250 (collection from London)

I had a fretless one of these many moons ago and wish I had kept it.

The top two stings go out of one socket and the bottom two out of the other one, if you just plug a single jack in it works like a normal output.

There is a girl on Talkbass.com, Fassa Albrect, who was after a left Shergold. You may want to consider PM'ing her there as she may be interested. However, I am not vouching for her as a buyer, just that she is mad about Shergolds (and may puke on it if she buys it).
