Initially, it was the ramp that caught my eye. But then I looked further and thought this might be a Squier VM with a reshaped headstock. Don't think it's that either as the black in the 'burst is too severe and looks more like the kit one sees on AliExpress. Anyone know of this builder?

Harley Benton with a ramp and a sticker?

The burst's not right (uglier) but it's pretty damn close:

Another day, another chancer...

I had one of those Harleys. It was much, much better looking than the one in the OP. And it played very nice, although it was pretty heavy.

No , it is actually a custom build , hand made . From a guy in Newquay

Hand made, as in made from scratch, or assembled from parts?

I've seen that horrible noburst on basses before, can't remember what brands but none of them were ones I'd want to own and I love a cheap bass or two. Youtube demo here:

Agreed they are just bolt together bitsas with reshaped headstocks, not exactly warranting the "Rowland Custom Shop" logo.

My thoughts exactly...why do some think that "I nailed loads of bits together, badly, by myself" means "Custom"

Shades of PCsGC.......

That's weird because the neck on this one looks like a cheapo which has had its headstock crudely reshaped, definitely looks agricultural compared to the rest of it:

The more observant amongst us will notice different coloured control knobs. Seems like quite a few "luthiers" are taking cues from the master!
