It’s a form of EQ – shelving all frequencies above or below a specified frequency by a specified amount. Hope that helps :wacko:

No, but thanks. What happens to the shelved freqs? Boost or cut? Or do they go to the pub and get Mullered?

;) It can be either a boost or a cut - I'll find some pictures on google to explain better than I can (it's not a complicated concept but I'm just sh*t at explaining stuff)...
