I did see some very good looking retro styled ESP basses a couple of years ago; I think they may have been Japan only releases but they looked great. See also; - random knob placement, - BBOT bridge (nothing wrong with a BBOT but it looks a bit odd here), - Odd step in the lower edge of the body, - the headstock.
