MacDaddy
Although still working and only being 2 1/2 years old, my Xvive U2 has seen better days. Having a search on the Amazon brings up a plethora of cheap alternatives (rechargeable wireless systems) for under £50, with names I've never heard of such as: Getaria; Muslady; Ammoon; Lekato. Does anyone know anything about these 'brands'? There don't seem to be reviews anywhere other than Amazon. I would splash the cash and go for a Boss WL-20, but apparently they don't work so well near wifi.
skidder652003
heard of Ammoon, think they make pedals? Probably ok for the money. £34? probably worth a punt, let us know if you take the plunge! https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07L2RXYZL?m=A316DH54LGJKDO&tag=ammoonuk-21 Edited December 23, 2019 by skidder652003
Maude
I've got the Ammoon one (£25 on ebay), it's works well enough, no noticeable change in volume or tone doesn't drop out, doesn't affect our XR18 WiFi, enough range, charge lasts about 4 hours, but I find the latency is noticeable so I'm back on a lead. There's a thread on here somewhere about it to save repeating the issues, I'll find it in a minute.

Stub Mandrel
I'm quite happy with it, one of our guitarists is keen to get one as well. Our new practice room is at least 15m long, so I was able to get a decent idea of what we sound like. I haven't found a latency problem so I suspect @Maude or his/her setup may be more sensitive than I am to latency...
