Delberthot
Never thought I'd ever see one like this. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-String-Clear-Body-...1QQcmdZViewItem I've had a clear one and a blue one but they have been regular 5 string basses. yorick
Two octave neck on a 22" scale........ fantastic!!!
Bassassin
I want that. Why is the exchange rate so crap, and why does stuff like this never make it to the UK? Gah. Jon.
beerdragon
He has another Lucite one which is a bit cheaper, also the five string version. The Burpster
Hmmm I might just get me one of those......
beerdragon
Well it does provide the Highest Quality Song.
BigRedX
The second one is the same as the one's being sold in the UK under the 'Wesley' name. I have one in purple lucite which for £70 isn't too bad at all after I'd spent a couple evenings setting it up. beerdragon
Is that the same as Waynepunkdudes Wesley that's going around the country now?. if so, that's one heavy so and so.
Delberthot
Yip - they make Warwicks seem featherweight by comparison. Both of mine have been Wesleys. As well as providing highest quality song it should also give good lucky with the noble art of the larruping etc etc etc
SJA
mm, I want that headless. the small body size should make the weight bearable.
Bassassin
OK - serious - if somewhat impulsive - question: If I could track down the manufacturer/exporter of these (it'll be some Chinese or Indonesian sweatshop) and import a few of them, who would take one off me 'ands? Obviously I don't know how much we'd be talking about - but given the prices of the likes of Wesleys, I doubt it would be very expensive. Just a thought. J. BigRedX
At Wesley prices I'll have one. Although if there are alternative body colours I'd like to see what's available...
redstriper
I wish it was a 22" scale, then I really would be interested, even a 30" short scale would be nice. My main bass is an 18" scale Ashbory.
