Anyway. Tonewood? Where is that from then, a tonewood tree? I had a cheap Strat copy and it sounded superb, it was made from......plywood. There again it might have been plywood from a tonewood tree.

I see what this is all about. It's about getting everyone to off load all their excess basses, thus saturating the BC marketplace and bringing prices crashing down so we have more choices for much cheaper.
