Byo
Happy New Year all! I am looking at stringing my OLP MM3 5-String from a low-B to a high-C as I am delving into chordal territory more and more on my 4-strings and want that extra register. Are there any sets that you would recommend or is it easier to grab a 6-string one instead? Cheers! Hellzero
This set is what I used on my fivers with a high C. Great strings, but it will be cheaper to buy a D'Addario sixer set... https://m.thomann.de/gb/fodera_5_string_set_medium_high_c.htm?o=29&search=1577904528
Hellzero
Here is what you can get by Thomann, if you like the Warwick sound of their strings, there's a bit of choice : https://m.thomann.de/gb/search.html?categoryKeys=GISAEB*&manufacturers=Fodera|Warwick&q=Bass high c&s=price
Crawford13
Warwick used to do a set that I bought on amazon for like £15, they always came from Germany, but I’ve not seen them for a while. Failing that by the 6 string set, or on strings direct you can buy single C strings, my preference was always 0.
Byo
Thanks for the advice Hellzero and Crawford13! 🤘 I will have a further look at those Warwick sets. Cheers, Byron
