spectoremg Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Apologies to the mods if this is an infringement. Seen on a social media site on sale for £200!! He's forgotten the Shonky decal on the headstock. Quote
itu Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 I was expecting to read about the quarrel of costs between Mr. Fender and Mr. Sadowsky... Quote
LeftyJ Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 (edited) Same! The founder of Rickenbacker was mr Adolph Rickenbacker 😛 And to be really specific, the 4000 series basses were developed after Adolph sold his brand to mr Francis C. Hall (current owner John Hall's father I suppose). Edited January 2, 2020 by LeftyJ Quote
Earbrass Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 That body looks a bit like it's made of foam rubber to me. In fact, are you sure the whole thing isn't actually just a giant novelty bath sponge? 1 Quote

Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 According to wikipedia Roget Rosmeisl worked at Fender from 1962 to 1973 where he designed the Coronado range which I'd always assumed had been designed by a committee. Quote

Fender used a dye injected into a living tree to make the Wildwood colors. That is what a catalog said. Have you seen one ever ? They did make a pretty picture. Quote
