EBS_freak Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) So here's the latest incarnation of my rig. Pointless Furman conditioner (but hey it's got lights!) Peterson Stroborack EBS TD650 and... 4 x EBS-210 Proline cabinets. ...but it makes sense. 2x10s are portable, light... and depending upon the needs of the gig/rehearsal I can take 1, 2, 3 or 4 cabs... and arrange them in all sorts of patterns. A bit like Tetris really. Edited January 25, 2009 by EBS_freak Quote
birdy Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 That will make some serious noise! Are these cabs now fitted with 16 ohm speakers meaning that they are 8 ohm cabs? I think I know the answer but just thought that others may think you are running at one ohm :-) Steve Quote
EBS_freak Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 Yup, 8 ohm cabs. My existing cabs had the speakers replaced with 16 ohm speakers from EBS and the other 2 were special orders from EBS. Quote

Marcus Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Looks great....... I remember doing something similar with pair Ashdown mini 4x8 cabs and a pair of Min 15's I used a TD650 to drive them, it was when I first set off with the U2 tribute thing, it was like a Baby Clayton / Ox Rigg ATB Mark Quote
bass_ferret Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 At least somebody has taken my advice about not mixing cabs. Not that much different from using 2 4x10's. When are you playing the Dog And Duck? Quote
OutToPlayJazz Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Wow! Admit it - You just built that in order to blow girls' underwear clean off, didn't you?? Quote
