STU-SBL Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008
I know the effect you mean, the old warwick bass on the BW logo was bubinga with a sapwood centre in the same style. Did you see edition 18 of BGM? There was the UK luthier special, and they reviewed an overwater with a cocobolo top with similar sapwood, Thre was a biiger pic on their site, but I could only see this thumbnail just now:
I know this one is a bit late, but click on the link below for a large image... King of Loss Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 Before I hit the sack.... Got it from Alan today. Sounds amazing. Took a couple of dodgy photos with my laptop to give an idea of the finished product. Maybe I'll take some with a camera later in the week. I really could not be happier with it. More soon. Gute Nacht. Quote
Finbar Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 I'm not a huge fan of the ACG shapes, but man, that top wood and fretboard wood are both sexy as owt! Congrats, you've got yourself a stunner! ^_^ Quote

budget bassist Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 That looks sweet, love the cocobolo top! The fingerboard looks really nice too, you could never put frets in that sucker Also what's up with your camera? XD in one set of pictures the bass looks like a righty and in another it looks like a lefty haha. Quote
