Ibanez Soundgear SR885 (feeler)

Hi people - I'm looking to sell my 5-string Ibanez, as I don't use it and I need the funds for something else. I'm probably going to sell it privately to my drum tutor, and I'd like to know a ballpark figure for it.

It's had some upgrades - stock pick-ups replaced with EMG 40DC's
- stock pre-amp replaced with EMG BTQ system
- new bridge (much heavier duty) and nut.

Comes with hard-case. Cost £775 12 years ago. I was thinking of around £300. What do you think?

£300 sounds about right if it's a Jap model..Could be interested...cheers

To be honest, I really only put it on basschat to get some sort of valuation - then the mods moved it to the 'for sale' section ! I sort of have a buyer already, and I'd said £300 to him but wanted to check on here whether that was a reasonable price. So I am duty bound to offer it to him first - if it falls through, I'll let all the PM'ers know!
