Reggaebass Posted June 15, 2024 Author Posted June 15, 2024 Was playing some Rod Taylor yesterday, it’s a simple but really great Bassline so I explored it more and it’s known by quite a few riddims , one being He Prayed Riddim, there’s so many tracks , pablo, Dillinger, burning spear, big youth, and of course Scientist Extra time one and Ice cream love has a nice variation to it 4 1 Quote

Havens, 1983", in 1968 I think, whilst Bob did it in '71 IMS. Also in '71, Dutch vocal group The Revells did a haunting non-album version as "Indian ropeman", which is on one of the compilations called "Psych Bites". That's the version that has followed me for 53 years. Lurve it. Not reggae, mind. Edited June 16, 2024 by BassTractor 1 Quote

Currently getting into the 'Im Still In Love With You' Riddim, probably going from that into 'No No No' (Dawn Penn going into the Joe Gibbs version). ......although when it actually comes to it live, that will probably all be out of the window! 2 Quote
