Reggaebass Posted September 6, 2024 Author Posted September 6, 2024 Been looking into Trevor castell also known as Trevor Junior, there’s some nice bass on his tracks which I’ve narrowed down to 3 players , Chris Meredith, Robbie Shakespeare and George Fully Fullwood, one of those artists that’s been around a long time but not overly well known, here’s a few nice version on this from around 1984 and from the rub a dub album 2 1 Quote

Reggaebass Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 If you remember Creation Rebel you will love this with Adrian Sherwood, unfortunately I wasn’t there, I would have liked to even just to see Kenton Brown play, heavy bass, @Frank Blank I think you might like some of this 1 Quote

Reggaebass Posted September 21, 2024 Author Posted September 21, 2024 Don’t really know much about recording consoles but this looks really cool, according to the info it’s been used on so many famous reggae tracks and albums and came from Harry J's in Jamaica , check out the list , quite a part of history https://search.app/NiVfRUKLSc5D8BGg6 1 Quote

Reggaebass Posted September 22, 2024 Author Posted September 22, 2024 On some Mikey Dread today , I like the driving Bassline on this, it’s a good one to play , and the jingle at the beginning I’m sure used to be on the Rodigan show or maybe from Tony Williams Reggae Rockers 1 1 Quote
Mykesbass Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Just a little tribute to Kris Kristofferson - a testament to his songwriting in that this Country songwriter wrote a song that was a huge soul hit for Gladys Knight and provided John Holt with this great single: 3 Quote
