I'd forgotten about this -- Topping the Radio Jamaica chart for 11 weeks in 1985!

None too shabby here, getting to number seven, and your's truly was in the sales team that had to sell it as a new release!

I love what the Playing For Change team do. Shame it can't go on the Spotify playlist, but I'll be listening later.

Any more suggestions

Without going back, I’m not sure if you have this one, it’s a great drum beat

I've been getting this in my FB feed last couple of days.........

It's some software plus a hardware controller to make dub mixes from any final mix.... no stems or individual tracks needed.

cost is about £250

Seems to work mainly by using EQ to isolate narrow bands and applying dubby effects.

That looks cool, Do you think that’s something like Dub FX uses

A few tracks here from Chezidek, who’s Basslines I like playing now and again

His style is pretty laid back, not really heavy dub, there’s some good tunes on his channel

Talking of Lover's Rock, just did a quick search of the thread and this hasn't appeared yet!! Another huge South London track.

Excuse me Sir, I think you'll find that this was already posted on page 4 (ahem, by you!) - The Reggae Thread Police

Only joking xD- I was looking back to see if my next post was a duplicate and noticed this one!

You can get your own back if my next one is actually a dupe!!

Great song though, love it..... a bit outside my vocal range mind you!

Max Romeo / The Upsetters - Chase The Devil

More great stuff from the Lee Perry camp.

Great tune, it was sampled by the prodigy I believe on the track outer space
