Definitely CPC, he was a big man in the reggae world, not only producing but performing too

Just popped into the reggae thread to pay respects to Scratch. Probably my number one Reggae ‘person’ (I won’t narrow him to artist or producer). RIP

Sad indeed. Mind you, 85 is a pretty good innings. His Black Ark era is madly wonderful, he was a magician with moods and soundscapes, using very rudimentary tools.

So sad. A true legend, dedicated to his life long craft. I'm sure dub reggae, and reggae in general wouldn't be the same today without him having pioneered his techniques so early.
