warwickhunt
It's the absolute pits that you've had to come to the point of selling of treasures like this, especially considering the physical aspect of your injury... I soooo wish I could get on with jazz style basses (damn, 5 strings come to think of it) but I can't believe for one minute that this won't be snapped up when fellow BCers get home from work. Good luck with your recovery and the imminent sale(s)!

Bigwan
Even on counting the pennies I am still quite a bit short (well a bit short, but enough that it might be considered a slap in the face offer for this beauty) - somebody buy this cracking bass and help Ped out... and take it out of my sight!!! ashevans09
Sorry to hear about your illness ped Where in Oxford are you? I'm in Abingdon. Also what wood you liken the Jacaranda to sonically? No speakers atm on the comp! Thanks, Ash Edited August 9, 2007 by ashevans09
ped
Hi matey, I am in Witney, just down the road. Jacaranda is like Rosewood; it has a very rich punch and is very attractive to look at. You are welcome to come and have a play and time apart from Saturday morning/early afternoon as I think I am off to see my Gran! Cheers ped
ped
Now sold, thanks for the interest and kind words. The 24F is still up for grabs just about - get in there whilst you still can and pick up a real belter! ped

Snarf
Bloody 'ell, that was quick! Sorry to hear about your injury and having to sell that Ped, that sucks. I didn't realise there were so many people from these Oxford parts on here (Cowley road and Abingdon for me).
Owen
Just as well that I did not see that as I would have had it without thinking twice despite the fact that I have NO funds at the moment.
ped
Thanks chaps. This should help me survive for the next little while - I am offski to the bank later to try and extend my overdraft until this benefit money arrives, I get the distinct feeling that by the time it does I will be a bleedin headmaster. Sad to see the wonderful bass go (as I will be with teh matching 24F) but it is going to a friend and I will probably cross paths with her again when funds allow. Cheers ped
