simondee
Hey guys, So the Thumb took a few knocks on tour sadly. The first was by a guitar stand collapsing and the second was a run-in with an over-eager wheeled flightcase. She's now scratched up a little bit. sad face. this bass deserves to be pristine and staring at bits of primer when playing just isn't right. Now before I take her to the guys at the Gallery, can any of you recommend any products/techniques to restore her back to white glossy goodness and keep my wallet in solid working order? Thanks
Delberthot
Tale the bass to a place that mixes automotive paint and get them to make you a touch up pen. They'll be able to match it to the colour of the bass. Once properly hardened, a light going over with rubbing compound should blend it in.
