Johnebass Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 (edited) I have just put an OBP3 back into my shuker Bass (5 string) which has a pair of SD Basslines ASB2's fitted at present. The sound is great but not a patch on my old Stingray5 so I am really still looking for that throaty lower mid growl and dont know whether a pair of EMG HZ or Nordstrand Big Splits would be best. I know I could stick with the stingray but the Shuker bass feels really nice and is a good weight so I dont really want to get rid of it unless I have too, you know a bass is for life etc......................plus I need a spare anyway.
