mathewsanchez Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I recently stumbled across this little beauty, 1980 fender precision finished in 'taupe'. I've looked into it a bit an have seen the colour also referred to as 'Sahara Taupe' and 'Desert Taupe'. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me: -what years was this finish in production? -how rare are they? -and roughly how much is this one worth? I realise a lot of people will see brown as ugly but personally I think it's a beautiful bass (and may look even better with a black pickguard). Quote
mathewsanchez Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 Looked into it a bit more and found this thread. So i've half answered my own question. Quote
dub_junkie Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I like it too and I agree it'd look even nicer with a black plate Quote
