Hellzero Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Farfadet is really nice, but you have to have foreign language skills. Quote
yorks5stringer Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Prior to the launch of the Gnomes, Thomann are knocking out the LWA 500 for £185 and the LWA1000 for £275, seriously good value. Quote

Yup, and given the LWA1000 is a serious piece of kit, with a class A preamp designed by none other than Jonas Hellborg, and can now be had for the cost of the soon to be released 250w gnome. I know where my money would go! Eude 1 Quote

My god, you’re not kidding. I’ve had the LWA500 for a few years now - it’s an excellent little amp. Quote

PaulHornBass Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Has anyone tried one of these yet? Looking into it for my micro-rig... Quote
Pea Turgh Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Not me, but they are £110/£143/£170 on Thomann. I really liked the look of the 1000w ones on silver that looked like old hifi they were shifting when this thread started. Quote
Linus27 Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 I'm considering one of these as my backup but kind of holding back in case EBS, Ampeg or Ashdown release something similar. Quote
CalDeep Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Anyone actually buy the gnome? At £111 for the bog standard one, thats an insane bargain. Quote
