Howdy all!

Picked this up on a trade with @Jackemmings and it’s absolutely brilliant. Only problem is during its well played and hard life the front pick up has become a bit worn. So, anyone know where I could source a replacement or somewhere that could 3D print me a new one?

I'm reasonably sure those pick up covers are the same as each other and the same as the current Stingray Classic (black version) - if you email EBMM Customer Services they may be able to supply a new one. However you need to note it's the early Sabre neck pick up with exposed pole pieces as opposed to the more usual covered version.

drT, don't the Sabre pickups have a smaller footprint than the ones for StingRay?

They do, about 10mm difference

The covered ones do, yes - not sure on these first production ones. They also had issues with the neck pick up pulling the strings - I thought they were Stingray spec pick ups.

Gav's site may help and if not he'd be sure to know.

Some people would kill for that level of relicing...

Yeah, but the wires we coming through the gaps otherwise I would have left it 😂 Great job on the 3d printing though, they're gonna look sweet!

Printed another. Right way up. Worked better.

More consistent finnish on the visual side. Less processing required.

as i dont have the pickup to test fit, i imagine a small amount of "fettling" may be in order.
