Any problem with the neck?

Looks like is a crack there....

Every Wal I've had (admittedly all MK 1's) all have had a small crack in the poly finish on the back of the headstock, nothing involving the wood.  Seems to be a Wal thing!

I have an identical 4 string. Must be his baby brother.

Absolutely fantastic bass.

A new one of these starts at £7050 and comes with an approximate 30 month waiting list.

I would be all over this like a rash if i hadn't recently purchased a Wal Pro II fretless.

Sorry nap couldn't bear to part with it.

Not only is it THE bass in my opinion it also holds sentimental value as I knew Pete the Fish RIP. and bought it brand new from him back in the day.

If yours is still for sale once I have replaced the kitchen for the missus and then replenished my bass fund I will be in touch mate.

I've got this one's twin (though no crack in the neck lacquer - does that mean it's a fake?).  Could almost be from the same plank of wood.

The way light plays on the flamed shedua is almost holographic.  It's so beautiful I'm a little embarrassed to take it anywhere!
