B.C.Rich porn-another returns to roost

So,a possibility arose for me to get back one of my basses I sold 15 years ago,My BCR Eagle was a very firm favorite to be heading out of the door,but as the owner was a 5 string player,he decided to take my Yamaha John Myung instead (I'm REALLY missing it already )

The Bass I got back is one of the 2 1979 Bich 8 strings I used to own,it has slight issues with it's electrics,not bassy enough,but Both pre-amps work and the Varitone kinda works,I'm hoping it's just dirt,It worked a bit better once I used servicsol on it,but if needs be it'll eventually get new pick ups and a new Varitone

Anyway,let me re-introduce you to "Barbara" my old 1979 Koa and Flame Maple Bich 8 string bass







Now to get some more money together and get another Yamaha John Myung

Sucks about losing the JM - though the price should come down a bit for a new one now he's using Musicman.

And nice stand for the Ironbird .

I was wondering who was buying these BC Rich basses(I remember them ,but they always seemed a little too odd to me,in the way a musicman bongo does) now i know.....,must admit ,i didnt know Mr Phil Lynott used one.The one BC Rich bass i do remember, which surely must be a famous one, must be the red one Suzi Quatro used to have(black leather jumpsuit, on top of the pops with a red BC Rich bass ,suprised i remembered the bass actually!) .You havent got that one have ya?. Random Bloke indeed......cheeky!

A friend of mine owns the Ironbird bass used in the Megadeth "Wake up dead" video,2 of Rick Derringer's Stealths and a custom Snake guitar that used to be George Lynch's

I didn't know the guy from Adam,he lives in South Africa,but had left the bass in his parents attic for 24 years!!!

I had to do a 500 mile round trip to Northants to get it
