New Sire MM basses

Sire have released a few new basses on Facebook, but the short scale and passive jazz with roasted necks were of particular interest.....yes please!

If the V5 is same quality as the V7 I'll be interested. However if that short scale PJ was full scale I'd be buying, love a PJ on a j body.

I always like the sound of Sire in passive mode, so am interested to try a V5! The Instagram blurb twice mentions it being "light", so here's hoping the 5 comes in at a decent weight and has the rolled edges and other perks of the V7.

I saw the new basses being promoted on Facebook a few days ago. This morning there's a Strat, Les Paul and a large body Gibson style guitar on their pages. Seems they're moving into being a 'player' inn the market  (excuse the pun).

Sire started off as Dame in Korea, until they hooked up with MM and started selling to US/EU market.

Will be interesting to see how their guitars match up now they also have some endorsement and better distribution.
