RichardH
A Kickstarter happening in February 2020, so a way off yet - sounds very interesting (especially their estimated street price of €299....) https://forum.moddevices.com/t/say-hello-to-the-mod-dwarf/4065

RichardH
It's a sort of similar thing to the Helix Stomp, I guess you could say. Here's their landing page with more general info on it Edited January 21, 2020 by RichardH
Al Krow
The sales pitch sounds very good. But unlimited blocks per patch - really? I'd have been less sceptical if they weren't being quite so optimistic about their claims! Couldn't see a DI out, but maybe the two outputs are already balanced. RichardH
I think the way they approach it is not to limit the number of effects, but to show a CPU usage level - so I assume you can have loads if they contain less power hungry FXs, but fewer if you are using more intensive functions. Yup that makes sense. But in which case their claim to unlimited effects patches is pure hyperbole. I'm already out!
Tomas73
I’ve been researching this, and other Mod Devices products. I am not easily swayed, but l must say l think this may be the way to go. When you see it in action you realise how it addresses many of the limitations of other rig solutions. l’ll find some links to add to this thread. Obviously there is more information for the already released products than the new ‘Dwarf’, but it seems that it’s almost functionally the same, just smaller than their ‘Duo’ models.
